This will download all photos from the current authenticated user (you): $ twphotosĭownload all photos from an existing user other than yourself with -u option followed by username. I call this script through an URL, which IFTTT generates from the URL. Right /edit: I now made a script on my webserver that uses the Twitter API to get the picture of a certain tweet.
Right-click the image and save it to the desired location. Optionally, you can replace small with large if you prefer a relatively smaller size. Replace the syntax small with orig in the image URL and hit enter. To do so, right-click on the image and select Open Image in New Tab. The simplest usage is to run “twphotos” from command-line without any options. From my point of view, IFTTT would need a parser that takes the URL from a tweet and strips all the glimmer to get the full picture URL in order to download it. Open the normal version of the image you want to save.
